Happy Street – First concepts and prototype screenshots

We found a few concept arts we did exactly a year ago, that was the very first thing we ever made on Happy Street.

You can probably recognize a few elements which are today in the game.

And after a week of work we had this running prototype. We had a different art style than the one we have in the game today. It was more of a city/urban style that was definitely missing the nature and village side that we ended up choosing.

We had over 1000 entries, and choosing the winners was definitely not an easy task with all those amazing screenshots you sent. We came up after some long discussions with the 5 winners.

The 5th is “daniellespoerl” who earns 30 flooz with this awkward situation:

The 4th is “winnie350” who earns 40 flooz for getting 3 beautiful girls in this beach setup

And here is the top 3

The 3rd is “Dr.Ou” who earns 50 flooz with this cute musical creation:

“The rock band !!!”

The 2nd is “Caledonia1980“ who earns 100 flooz, catching one of those funny moment in Happy Street with those great looking villagers.

“The village people are back on village-tour!! YMCA !!”

And now ladies and gentleman the Winner of the contest is : “followthepattern” ! Congratulations to him, he earns 200 flooz for this pretty funny situation:

Happy Street contest – Zany Situation

We are starting today a contest of unusual and zany situations in the game Happy Street. We will be offering more than 400 flooz to the winners.

The rule is simple, take a screenshot of Happy Street showing your villagers in an unusual situation and join a caption which help understand the situation.

I love sunbathing

We will post the 5 most zany and funny screenshots with their caption on our website and facebook.

The winner of the contest will win 200 flooz
– The 2nd: 100 flooz
– The 3rd: 50 flooz
– The 4th: 40 flooz
– And the 5th position: 30 flooz
