Last Updated: June 26th, 2020

This Cookie and Opt-Out Policy ("Cookie Policy") describes how Godzi Lab Inc ("we" or "us") collects and uses cookies when you interact with any of our websites, applications (including mobile applications), or any other services linking to this Cookie Policy (together the "Products") as well as your choices as to our use of these cookies .

Generally, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect and use data as part of our Products as set forth in our Privacy Policy. We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. You can find the date it was last revised in the upper left corner of this Cookie Policy. Any changes we make to this Cookie Policy are effective when posted, subject to any applicable notification for collection of use of data as set forth in our Privacy Policy.

By continuing to visit or use our Products, you are agreeing to the use of cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described in this Cookie Policy.

About Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Cookies are commonly used small text files placed on your device or computer. Cookies collect limited amounts of data most often for the purposes of providing website and application functionality and features.

First and Third Party Cookies:

When we place cookies directly when you visit our Products, those are called "first-party cookies".

When one of our third-party service providers, ad partners, or a third party advertiser places cookies, those are called "third party cookies" and we do not have control over the settings on those third-party's websites and/or applications. First and third party may be placed on your device, computer, or browser when you use our Products. Third party developers and publishers may also use cookies or other technologies within our Products. Such cookie placement is subject to the privacy policies of those third parties and you should visit the websites of third-party providers to obtain further information on how they use cookies .

Persistent and Session Cookies: We use two types of cookies: persistent cookies and session cookies. Persistent cookies stay on your browser until they are deleted or expire. Session cookies last until you close a website or browser.

Pixels are tiny images found within a webpage or email. Pixels can also be used to place cookies on a browser. They require a call to a company's server to render the image on the webpage or email. That call will provide us device and visit information that enables us to understand how you interact with such content (e.g. did you "like" a post).

Log Files are tracking technologies that we use and automatically store information, such as your Internet Protocol addresses, browser type, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data. We maintain server logs for 90 day.

Local Storage is storage on your device that we use to store information related to your use of our Products, such as your recent conversation history in the Godzi Lab messaging application.

Other Tracking Technologies include mobile advertising IDs, Device IDs, and session tokens that we use to identify and understand your interactions with our Products.

We describe how we use cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., pixels, ad IDs, etc.) below.

Your Choices and Opting Out

You have choices as to how we place cookies and similar technologies on your computer or device. If you choose to opt out of, or limit, our ability to place cookies and similar technologies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of our Products, you may be unable to customize certain settings, and your experience may no longer be personalized. Refusing all cookies will deactivate first and third party cookies that are necessary for our Products to function.

In this Cookie Policy, we explain how you can deactivate third-party cookies and control the information that is shared for online advertising purposes, and important information about those choices.

  • Godzi Lab does not maintain or control the opt-out mechanisms and settings above and is not responsible for their operation.
  • Exercising these choices does not prevent us from delivering contextual advertising, conducting cross-device tracking for us to serve you first-party ads directly, or using information for non-targeted advertising purposes, such as attribution and analytics.
  • We may also still share some personal information with our partners to help us perform functions such as measuring ad effectiveness, controlling how many times you see an ad, determining ad performance, providing and securing ad, providing aggregate statistics and analytics, and/or reducing ad fraud. In such instances, these partners will act as our services providers.
  • The above choices will not opt you out of the use of previously collected and shared information or all interest-based advertising (such as that conducted on other sites).
  • How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies and other tracking technologies are those that are necessary to run our Products, and to identify and prevent security risks. For example, we set session cookies to run our Products. If you wish to refuse these cookies, our Products will not work. As a result, the only option is to discontinue use of and/or remove from your devices our Products.

Customization and Analytical Cookies. These cookies and tracking technologies are used to collect information about how you use our Products and to remember your settings and preferences. Either we or our third party service providers may collect these cookies to help us understand how you use our service and to improve your experience with any one of our Products. These cookies and tracking technologies are used to deliver advertisements (including to personalize them so that they are more relevant to you), and to track what ad was shown and the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (i.e. did you view/click on the ad) across our Products and on third party sites (such as our ad placements on Facebook). Advertisers may also place cookies or other tracking technologies to show you advertisements, including personalized and/or targeted advertisements within our Products.

When you opt out of targeting advertising cookies, you may still see our, or others, advertising on websites and applications, however, they will not be targeted to you through use of third-party cookies and/or may not be personalized.
